TRAFFIC ALERT: INTERSTATE 81 RAMP CLOSURES TO ROUTE 8 SCHEDULED NEXT WEEK FOR PAVING OPERATIONS IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY
SALEM – As work continues on the I-81 project at exit 114 and Route 8, ramp closures have been scheduled next week for paving operations.
Beginning Sunday night, May 10 through Friday, May 14, during nighttime hours from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, the I-81 southbound exit 114 off ramp and the southbound exit 114 on ramp will be closed for paving and striping, weather permitting.
Message boards will be in place to provide updated information and a reduced speed limit of 60 mph is in place within the work zone.
Drivers may experience delays in the area and should use caution in the work zone.
