TRAFFIC ALERT: DRY HOLLOW ROAD IN ROANOKE COUNTY TO CLOSE FOR ENGINEERING STUDIES ON FUTURE PROJECT
SALEM – Beginning on Monday, July 12 through Wednesday, July 14, Route 649 (Dry Hollow Road) will be closed to perform preliminary engineering studies with regards to a future improvement project on Dry Hollow Road, weather permitting.
The road will be closed during nighttime hours, 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., within the vicinity of the Norfolk Southern Railroad overpass on Dry Hollow Road near the intersection of West River Road.
During the study, equipment will be placed in the roadway but pedestrians will have access through the work area.
Message boards will alert drivers of the closure.
