SALEM (4 p.m.) – Road conditions on interstates and primary roads have improved throughout the day today and are currently in clear to minor condition.

Temperatures are expected to rise in the early morning hours but drivers should continue to use caution in shady and cooler areas as isolated slick spots may be present tonight and tomorrow morning.
To report downed trees or other roadway hazards at 1-800-FOR-ROAD (367-7623) or online at www.virginiadot.org.
