INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT COMPLETE AT ROUTE 288 AND BROAD STREET ROAD (ROUTE 250) IN GOOCHLAND
Newly completed improvements include added turn lanes and traffic signals
SOUTH CHESTERFIELD—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) recently completed an interchange improvements project enhancing safety and operations at the Route 288 and Broad Street Road (Route 250) interchange in Goochland County. Newly completed improvements include added turn lanes and traffic signals to accommodate higher traffic volumes and increase safety within the project limits.
Work began on the project in March 2020 and was completed October 15. The total cost of the project was approximately $3.7 million.
