VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON COURTHOUSE ROAD/BULL HILL ROAD INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS IN PRINCE GEORGE
Public invited to learn more about the proposed intersection improvements on January 16

Proposed intersection improvements will reduce crashes and congestion in the area.

SOUTH CHESTERFIELD—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public hearing on an intersection improvements project proposed for Courthouse Road (Route 106) and Bull Hill Road (Route 630) in Prince George County. Proposed improvements will replace the existing, skewed intersection with a dog bone-shaped roundabout to improve safety and operations.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at William A. Walton Elementary School, located at 4101 Courthouse Road, Prince George, VA 23875. This meeting will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.

Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the meeting or until January 26 by mailing them to Jason Zhang, project manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002. Comments can also be emailed to jason.zhang@vdot.virginia.gov. Please reference “Proposed Dogbone Roundabout in Prince George” in the subject line.

Anyone requiring special assistance to attend and participate in this meeting may contact VDOT’s Civil Rights Division at (804) 524-6091 or TDD/TTY 711.
