Braddock Road Daytime Lane Closures in Centreville October 18 & 19
One lane of alternating traffic via flagging due to paving

CENTREVILLE – A portion of Braddock Road (Route 620) between Pleasant Valley Road (Route 609) and Old Lee Road (Route 661) will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic via flagging, weather permitting, Wednesday, Oct. 18 and Thursday, Oct. 19 between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day for paving, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Drivers should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.

The Braddock Road “S” curve between Tre Towers Court and Chandley Farm Circle will be paved with a high friction surface treatment that aims to provide additional skid resistance when the road is wet, thereby improving safety for drivers as they navigate the curve during inclement weather.

Drivers are reminded to use caution when traveling in active work zones. Be alert to new traffic patterns and limit distractions.

You can get real-time traffic, work zone and incident information online at 511virginia.org, via the free mobile 511Virginia app, or by calling 511 in Virginia anywhere anytime.
