Pipe Replacement along Willisville Road in Upperville April 11-15
Drivers asked to follow posted detour


UPPERVILLE – Willisville Road (Route 623) between Millville Road (Route 743) and Bloomfield Road (Route 626) will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, from 9 a.m. Monday, April 11 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 15 to replace four culvert pipes, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Those needing to reach properties along Willisville Road will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction.

Through traffic will be detoured via Millville Road, Greengarden Road/Airmont Road (Route 719) and Bloomfield Road back to Willisville Road. Drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs.

Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are reminded to use caution when traveling in active work zones. Be alert to new traffic patterns and limit distractions.
