Overnight Ramp Closures at Multiple I-66 Interchanges, January 31-February 4, for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project

FAIRFAX – Temporary ramp closures are scheduled to occur during the overnight hours next week at the following I-66 interchanges as part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.

Details include:

Monday, January 31, through Friday, February 4
Ramp from I-495 North to I-66 West
The ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night for overhead bridge work. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) West, stay to the right to I-495 South, then follow signs to I-66 West. 

Ramp from I-495 North to I-66 East
The ramp will be closed from 10:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. each night for overhead bridge work. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Route 7 East, travel about one mile, then follow signs to I-66 East.

Wednesday night, February 2, and Thursday night, February 3
Ramp from I-66 East to I-495 North
The ramp will be closed from midnight to 4 a.m. each night for overhead bridge work. Traffic will be directed to I-495 South, exit to Route 50 (Arlington Boulevard) East, stay to the right to Fairview Park, take the left fork to Fairview Park North, bear left at the traffic signal, then stay to the right following signs to I-495 North.

Thursday night, February 3, and Friday night, February 4
Ramp from I-66 East to Route 50 East
The ramp will be closed from midnight to 4 a.m. each night for road construction. Traffic will be detoured to Route 50 West, exit to Route 608 (West Ox Road) South, then stay to the right to Route 50 East.
