Overnight Closure of Ramps from I-66 West to Route 29 (Lee Highway) North and South in Gainesville Planned Tonight, August 22, and Tomorrow, August 23, for Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project
FAIRFAX – The ramps from I-66 West to Route 29 (Lee Highway) North and South in Gainesville will be closed tonight, Monday, August 22, from midnight to 4 a.m., and tomorrow night,Tuesday, August 23, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for paving. Traffic will be directed farther west to Route 15, stay to the left and use the left-most lane to Route 15 South, staying to the left to I-66 East, then follow signs to Route 29 North or South. This work is part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
