Pipe Replacement along Lovettsville Road April 26-27
Drivers asked to follow posted detour during road closure
LOVETTSVILLE – Lovettsville Road (Route 672) between Taylorstown Road (Route 668) and Route 15 (James Monroe Highway) will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, from 9 a.m. Monday, April 26 to 4 a.m. Tuesday, April 27 to replace a stormwater pipe, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Those needing to reach properties along Lovettsville Road will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement (just east of Taylorstown Road) in either direction.
Through traffic will be detoured via Route 15, Stumptown Road (Route 662), Newvalley Church Road (Route 663) and Taylorstown Road back to Lovettsville Road.
