Overnight Closure of Ramp from I-66 East to Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) Next Week, April 6-9, for Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project
FAIRFAX – The ramp from eastbound I-66 to Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) North and South will be closed during the overnight hours Tuesday night, April 6, through Thursday night, April 8, from midnight to 4 a.m. nightly. The ramp closures are needed for paving operations for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
Traffic will be directed to continue farther east to Nutley Street North, stay to the left and turn left at the traffic signal on to Nutley Street North, stay to the left and turn left at the traffic signal to I-66 West, then follow signs to Route 123 North or South.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
