Old Colchester Bridge Over Pohick Creek Closed in Lorton
Emergency closure required after safety inspection
LORTON – The Old Colchester Road (Route 611) bridge over Pohick Creek will close at 8 p.m. tonight, Friday, March 19, until further notice due to the results of the latest safety inspection, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Crews will be developing a plan for a long-term solution in the coming weeks.
Drivers are asked to use an alternate route.
