Mountain Road Closed in Hillsboro April 29-30
Detour in place during stormwater pipe work
HILLSBORO – Mountain Road (Route 690) between Route 9 (Charles Town Pike) and Legard Farm Road (Route 697) will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, from 9 a.m. Thursday, April 29 to 4 a.m. Friday, April 30 to replace stormwater pipes, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Those needing to reach properties along Mountain Road will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction.
Through traffic will be detoured via Route 9, Purcellville Road (Route 611) and Legard Farm Road back to Mountain Road.
