I-495 Southbound Nightly Lane Closures in Tysons Nov. 12-13
Overnight traffic stoppages for joint work on bridges over the Dulles Toll Road
TYSONS – On Friday night, Nov. 12 and Saturday night, Nov. 13, weather permitting, the three left lanes of the southbound I-495 (Capital Beltway Outer Loop) general purpose lanes will be closed along the three bridges over the Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) for bridge joint work, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The three left lanes of the southbound I-495 general purpose lanes are scheduled to be closed between 11 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday, and 11 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 14.
In addition, overnight intermittent full closures up to 20 minutes each of the southbound I-495 general purpose lanes over the Dulles Toll Road will occur Friday night and Saturday night between midnight and 5 a.m. each night.
Drivers are reminded to use caution when traveling in active work zones. Be alert to new traffic patterns and limit distractions.
