Foggy Bottom Road Flagging in Bluemont June 29 - July 13
One lane of alternating traffic in each direction during bridge work


BLUEMONT – Foggy Bottom Road (Route 626) just south of Snickersville Turnpike (Route 734) will have one lane of alternating traffic in each direction via flagging (weather permitting) Tuesday, June 29 through Friday, July 2, Tuesday, July 6 through Friday, July 9 and Monday, July 12 through Tuesday, July 13 to convert the one-lane bridge over Butchers Branch to two lanes, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The flagging will occur between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day.

Drivers should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
