LEESBURG – The West Market Street (Business Route 7) bridge over the Route 7 Bypass will have one lane of alternating traffic via flagging (weather permitting) at night Thursday night, July 30, and Sunday night, Aug. 2 through Thursday night, Aug. 6 for bridge repair work, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The work will occur according to the following schedule:

• Eastbound West Market Street (Ramp from the eastbound Route 7 Bypass): 8 p.m. Thursday night, July 30 to 5 a.m. Friday morning, July 31.
• Westbound West Market Street (Ramp to the eastbound Route 7 Bypass): Sunday night, Aug. 2 through Thursday night, Aug. 6 from 8 p.m. each night until 5 a.m. the following morning.                                  

Drivers can expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
