Traffic Stoppages Planned on I-66 East and West Near Jermantown Road During Overnight Hours Next Week
FAIRFAX – Traffic stoppages are planned for I-66 East and West on Tuesday, Jan. 14, and Wednesday, Jan. 15, between the hours of 11 p.m. and 4 a.m., so that Dominion Energy can install new overhead lines near Jermantown Road. Both nights there will be three full stoppages of 20 minutes each in both directions of I-66 simultaneously to accommodate this work, which is needed for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
All work is weather dependent. Should inclement conditions occur, work will be rescheduled for the night of Thursday, Jan. 16, during the same hours.
