Traffic Stoppages Planned on I-66 East and West Near Cedar Lane Saturday Night, April 4, for Overhead Utility Work
FAIRFAX – Traffic stoppages and lane closures are planned on I-66 East and West near Vienna during the overnight hours this Saturday, April 4. Traffic will be stopped intermittently in both directions simultaneously for up to 20 minutes each so an overhead communication line near Cedar Lane can be relocated for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
Details include:
I-66 East and West between Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) and I-495
Saturday, April 4
- Three left lanes will be closed on I-66 West between I-495 and Cedar Lane between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m.
- Three left lanes will be closed on I-66 East between Route 123 and Cedar Lane between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m.
- There will be multiple traffic stoppages of up to 20 minutes each between midnight and 4 a.m. in both directions simultaneously.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
