Route 340 Nighttime Lane Closure in Loudoun Heights Nov. 12
One lane of alternating traffic for rock slide debris and hazardous tree removal


LOUDOUN HEIGHTS – The eastbound lane of Route 340 between Harpers Ferry Road (Route 671) and the Maryland state line will be closed (weather permitting) from 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12 to 5 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13 to remove rock slide debris and hazardous trees, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Route 340 will have one lane of alternating eastbound and westbound traffic via flagging.

Drivers should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
