Pipe Replacement along Woodfair Road in Fairfax Station Feb. 3-7
Drivers asked to follow posted detour during road closure
Wednesday, Feb. 5 Update: The road has reopened to through traffic.
FAIRFAX STATION – Woodfair Road between Little Ox Road and Sydney Road will be closed to through traffic (weather permitting) from 8 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7 for crews to replace a stormwater pipe, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Those needing to reach properties along Woodfair Road will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction.
Through traffic will be detoured via Little Ox Road and Sydney Road back to Woodfair Road.
