Pipe Replacement along Henderson Road in Fairfax Station May 26-28
Drivers asked to follow posted detour during road closure
FAIRFAX STATION – Henderson Road (Route 643) between Hampton Road (Route 647) and Route 123 (Ox Road) will be closed to through traffic (weather permitting) from 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 26 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 28 to replace a stormwater pipe, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Those needing to reach properties along Henderson Road will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction.
Through traffic will be detoured via the following routes:
- Henderson Road, Wolf Run Shoals Road (Route 610), Clifton Road (Route 645) and Route 123 back to Henderson Road
- Hampton Road and Route 123 back to Henderson Road
