Pipe Replacement along Aden Road in Nokesville Aug. 19-20
Drivers asked to follow posted detour during road closure
Thursday, Aug. 20 2:45 p.m. update: Aden Road has reopened to traffic.
NOKESVILLE – Aden Road (Route 646) between Route 28 (Nokesville Road) and Marsteller Drive (Route 772) will be closed to through traffic (weather permitting) from 9 a.m. Wednesday morning, Aug. 19 to 10 p.m. Thursday night, Aug. 20 to replace a stormwater pipe, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Those needing to reach properties along Aden Road will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction.
Through traffic will be detoured via Route 28 and Fitzwater Drive (Route 652) back to Aden Road directly or back to Aden Road via Marsteller Drive.
