Overnight Ramp Closures Planned at the I-66/Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) Interchange Thursday and Friday Nights for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project
FAIRFAX – Temporary overnight ramp closures are scheduled to occur Thursday and Friday nights at the I-66/Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) Interchange so that crews can perform various construction activities for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
Details include:
Thursday, September 10
Ramp from Route 123 North and South to I-66 West
The ramp will be closed Thursday night, September 10, between midnight and 4 a.m. for restriping and shifting barrier. Traffic will be directed to I-66 East, to Nutley Street North, then stay to the left and follow signs to I-66 West.
Friday, September 11
Ramp from Route 123 North and South to I-66 East
The ramp will be closed Friday night, September 11, between midnight and 4 a.m. for crews to set barrier on the ramp. Traffic will be directed to I-66 West, to Route 50 East, then stay to the left and follow signs to I-66 East.
Message boards on I-66 are providing advance notice of lane closures and traffic stoppages.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
