FAIRFAX – The ramp from I-66 West to Route 29 in Centreville is scheduled to close temporarily during overnight hours on Monday, Jan. 13. Additionally, on Tuesday night, Jan. 14, the ramp from I-66 East to the 495 Express Lanes South will be closed. Closures are needed for crews to perform utility work and remove overhead gantries for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project. 

Details include:

Monday, Jan. 13: Ramp from I-66 West to Route 29 Centreville

• The ramp from I-66 West to Route 29 Centreville will be closed on Monday night, Jan. 13, from midnight to 4 a.m. Prior to the closure, drivers will be directed to exit at Route 28 South, then follow signs to Route 29 North or South.

Tuesday, Jan. 14: Ramp from I-66 East to 495 Express Lanes South

• The ramp from I-66 East to the southbound 495 Express Lanes will be closed on Tuesday night, Jan. 14, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers will be directed to the I-495 South general purpose lanes as an alternate route.

All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
