FAIRFAX – Temporary ramp closures are scheduled to occur during the overnight hours next week at the Route 234 Business/I-66 Interchange for paving operations for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project. 

Details include:

Monday, July 20, and Tuesday, July 21
Ramp from I-66 East to Route 234 Business (Sudley Road)

• The ramp from eastbound I-66 to Route 234 Business will be closed nightly Monday, July 20, and Tuesday, July 21, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be directed to exit prior to the closure at Route 234 Bypass (Prince William Parkway) South, then turn left on to Balls Ford Road to Route 234 Business.

Ramp from I-66 West to Route 234 Business North

• The ramp from westbound I-66 to Route 234 Business North will be closed nightly Monday, July 20, and Tuesday, July 21, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers will be directed to Route 234 Business South, turn right at the third traffic signal onto Coverstone Drive, take the first right at Miramar Drive, turn right on Balls Ford Road, then turn left at the traffic signal on to northbound Route 234.

All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
