Overnight Closures This Week for Ramp from I-66 West to Route 234 Business (Sudley Road) South for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project
FAIRFAX – The ramp from westbound I-66 to southbound Route 234 Business (Sudley Road) will close during the overnight hours Tuesday, September 22, through Friday, September 25, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly. Traffic will be directed prior to the closure to Route 234 Business North, turn right at the traffic signal on to Battleview Parkway, turn right on Infantry Ridge Road, left on Battleview Parkway, and then left at the traffic signal on to Route 234 Business South.
The closure is needed so crews can construct drainage for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
Message boards on I-66 are providing advance notice of lane closures and traffic stoppages.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
