Eastbound Route 7 Partial Left Turn Lane Closure at Battlefield Parkway in Leesburg Begins March 11
Utility work as part of Battlefield Parkway interchange project
Update: The partial closures have been rescheduled. They're now scheduled to begin Monday night, March 23 and will last through Tuesday, April 7, weather permitting.
LEESBURG – Beginning at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, the eastbound Route 7 (East Market Street) left turn lanes at Battlefield Parkway will be partially closed for about two weeks (weather permitting) due to utility work related to the Battlefield Parkway interchange project, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The two left turn lanes will be slightly shortened in order to accommodate the utility work.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the project was held in October. The project is scheduled for completion in fall 2021.
