East Church Road Closure in Sterling March 16-18
Detour in place during pipe replacement

STERLING – East Church Road between both of its intersections with Oaktree Lane will be closed to through traffic (weather permitting) from 9 a.m. Monday, March 16 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 18 for crews to replace a stormwater pipe, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The pipe is located near the western East Church Road/Oaktree Lane intersection (closest to Sterling Boulevard). Those needing to reach properties along East Church Road will have access via the eastern Oaktree Lane intersection; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction.

Through traffic will be detoured via Oaktree Lane back to East Church Road.
