Traffic Stoppages, Lane Closures On I-66 East Wednesday And Thursday Nights For Overhead Sign Gantry Removal
FAIRFAX, Va. – Overhead sign gantry removal will require lane closures and traffic stoppages on I-66 East between Blake Lane and Gallows Road during the overnight hours of Wednesday, April 10, and Thursday, April 11. Drivers can expect lane closures between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. and periodic stoppages of up to 20 minutes between midnight and 4 a.m.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
The I-66 Outside the Beltway Express Lanes are expected to open in December 2022.
