ALDIE – Tail Race Road (Route 612) between Route 50 and Route 15 will be closed to through traffic (weather permitting) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 6 for stormwater pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Residents and businesses along Tail Race Road, emergency vehicles and school buses will be able to access Tail Race Road; however, they will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction.

Through traffic will be detoured via Route 50 and Route 15 back to Tail Race Road.
