Stringfellow Road Temporary Lane Closure Beginning On or About Wednesday, October 23
Closure of southbound lane to last approximately one month for underground utility relocation
FAIRFAX – The right lane on southbound Stringfellow Road between Fair Lakes Boulevard and Village Square Drive is scheduled to close for about one month starting Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 5 a.m. The lane will be reopened weekdays between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. to accommodate the evening rush.
The closure is needed for utility crews to perform underground utility relocation as part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
