Route 1 Traffic Shift in Prince William Begins Sept. 23
Northbound lanes from Marys Way to Marumsco Creek bridge
New northbound section of bridge over Marumsco Creek
WOODBRIDGE – Northbound Route 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) from Marys Way to the bridge over Marumsco Creek will shift to the left Monday, Sept. 23 as part of the Route 1 widening project, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Around noon Monday, drivers will be shifted onto the new northbound section of the Marumsco Creek bridge.
Drivers should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
The Route 1 widening project is scheduled for completion in fall 2020.
