Ramp from Gallows Road South to I-495 South Closed Tonight
Detour in place
FAIRFAX – The ramp from southbound Gallows Road to I-495 South will be closed from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. tonight for utility work. Traffic will be directed to continue south on Gallows Road, stay to the left and make a U-turn under police direction at the traffic signal for the ramp to I-495 North, then stay to the right and follow signs to I-495 South. This is a continuation of work from Friday night and is part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
