FAIRFAX – Ramp closures are scheduled to occur during the overnight hours next week for utility relocations for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project. 

Details include:

Monday, Dec. 16, and Tuesday, Dec. 17
Ramp from I-66 West to Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road)

• The ramp from I-66 West to Route 123 will be closed Monday, Dec. 16, and Tuesday, Dec. 17, from midnight to 4 a.m. Drivers will be detoured farther west to Route 50 East, stay to the left for I-66 East, then follow signs to Route 123 North or South.

Friday, Dec. 20, and Saturday, Dec. 21
Ramp from Gallows Road South to I-495 South

• The ramp from southbound Gallows Road to I-495 South (Outer Loop) will be closed Friday, Dec. 20, and Saturday, Dec. 21, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Drivers will be directed to continue south on Gallows Road, stay to the left and make a U-turn under police direction at the traffic signal for I-495 North, then stay to the right and follow signs to I-495 South.

All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
