Lime Kiln Road in Loudoun Closed May 31-June 3
Daytime flagging operation May 31, then detour in place during pipe replacement
LEESBURG – Lime Kiln Road (Route 733) between Snickersville Turnpike (Route 734) and Route 15 (James Monroe Highway) will have a flagging operation and then be closed to through traffic Friday morning, May 31 to Monday morning, June 3 for stormwater pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
There will be one lane of alternating traffic via flagging Friday, May 31 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The road will then be closed from 7 p.m. Friday night, May 31 to 5 a.m. Monday morning, June 3.
Residents, businesses and places of worship within the closure area and emergency vehicles, as well as those needing to reach Camp Highroad will have access to the closed portion of Lime Kiln Road between 7 p.m. Friday night and 5 a.m. Monday morning; however, they will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction.
Through traffic will be detoured via Route 15, Route 50 (John S. Mosby Highway) and Snickersville Turnpike back to Lime Kiln Road.
