Lynchburg -- Railroad work will temporarily close two streets in Amherst in March. Route 685 (River Rd.), will close to through traffic from Monday, March 13 to Thursday, March 17. Route 659 (Depot St.) will close from Monday, March 21 to Thursday, March 24. Follow 511Virginia.org for updates.
