PROGRESS CONTINUES ON LYNBROOK ROAD PROJECT, CAMPBELL COUNTY
LYNCHBURG, Va. – Motorists are eagerly anticipating the completion of the Lynbrook Road (Route 622) highway improvement project in Campbell County and progress continues to be made.
Kanawha Stone Company, prime contractor on the project, switched traffic to the new bridge alignment on Monday, July 6 and the project is slated for completion by September 2021, weather permitting.
The approximately $7.7 million project is funded with SMART SCALE and State of Good Repair (SGR) monies. The purpose of the project is to improve alignment and reconstruct a wider roadway, within both existing corridor and on new location, as well as realign the road to intersect with Lawyers Road and Waterlick Road.
