LAST CHANCE TO WEIGH IN ON BOWERS HILL INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENTS STUDY
Online Survey Closes May 19

CHESAPEAKE – The Virginia Department of Transportation invites the public to take an online survey and weigh in on two proposed alternatives for improving the Bowers Hill Interchange in Chesapeake before the survey closes Sunday, May 19.

The goal of the Bowers Hill Interchange Improvements Study is to identify potential projects that would improve current and future congestion, traffic flow and safety. The Commonwealth Transportation Board is expected to make a decision on a preferred alternative this summer following the public comment period. On average, 121,800 vehicles a day enter the interchange between I-64, I-264, I-664, Route 58, Route 13, Route 460 and Jolliff Road in Chesapeake.
