NEW TRAFFIC SIGNAL ON LADYSMITH ROAD TO BE ACTIVATED NEXT WEEK
Signal at the intersection of Sheetz and Ladysmith Road in Caroline County will be activated Monday, October 3
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Starting next week, a new traffic signal will control traffic entering and exiting a Sheetz gas station on Ladysmith Road in Caroline County.
The signal will be activated on Monday, October 3, and will flash for approximately 48 hours to allow motorists to adjust to its presence.
On Wednesday, October 5, the traffic signal will be placed into full-color operation.
Message boards will be placed to alert motorists to the new signal.
The signal is located on Ladysmith Road between Interstate 95 and Route 1. It was funded and installed under permit as part of a development agreement in Caroline County, and the Virginia Department of Transportation will maintain and operate the signal as part of the state transportation network.
