HARRISON ROAD CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC AT LAFAYETTE BOULEVARD WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16
A 50-ft. section of Harrison Road will close for emergency utility work near the Lafayette Blvd. intersection between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. tomorrow

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Route 620 (Harrison Road) in Spotsylvania County will be closed to through traffic on the segment between Lafayette Boulevard and Route 1 for emergency utility work during midday hours on Wednesday, March 16.

There will be no traffic impact to Lafayette Boulevard, where lanes will remain open.

Around 50 feet of Harrison Road will close near the Lafayette Boulevard intersection between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. for utility work in connection with a Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) project at the intersection. Crews are extending a right turn lane from Lafayette Boulevard to westbound Harrison Road. Construction will be complete on the intersection project in May 2022.

During the utility repair Wednesday, access to all businesses and residential driveways on Harrison Road will be maintained.
