UPDATE: NEW DATE FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL ACTIVATION AT AUSTIN RIDGE DRIVE, MINE ROAD IN STAFFORD
Schedule adjusted to place new traffic signal in flash mode on Monday, June 7 and begin full color operation on Wednesday, June 9

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The activation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Route 1486 (Austin Ridge Drive), Coastal Avenue, and Route 684 (Mine Road) in Stafford County has been postponed to next week.

The new traffic signal will now be activated in flash mode on Monday, June 7, and will continue to flash through Wednesday, June 9.

The traffic signal will go into full color operation between 9 a.m. and noon on Wednesday, June 9, weather permitting.

The new traffic signal was funded and installed under permit as part of private development.

Drivers are encouraged to be alert to the change in traffic pattern at the intersection.
