FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Two lanes of Interstate 95 northbound have reopened north of exit 133 (Route 17) at the Truslow Road overpass in Stafford County.
A single northbound lane remains closed for fuel cleanup, but it is anticipated to reopen shortly.
Truslow Road has reopened to through traffic.
The Truslow Road overpass was struck by a northbound truck at midday. For motorist safety, all northbound lanes and Truslow Road were closed for removal of the truck and structural inspection.
Motorists will encounter residual I-95 northbound and Route 1 northbound delays in the Fredericksburg area as congestion from the 9-mile interstate backup clears the region.
Real-time updates on traffic and lane closures for this incident are available on 511virginia.org.
