UPDATED: REVISED INSPECTION SCHEDULE THIS WEEK AT FALMOUTH BRIDGE
All northbound lanes of Route 1 will be open on Thursday, Oct. 8 between the City of Fredericksburg and Stafford County, with a single Route 1 southbound lane closed tomorrow

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Lane closures scheduled for a routine bridge inspection this week on Route 1 at the Falmouth Bridge in the Fredericksburg area have been adjusted.

Tomorrow, Route 1 southbound will be reduced to a single travel lane on the Falmouth Bridge from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Falmouth Bridge crosses the Rappahannock River and connects Stafford County and the City of Fredericksburg. Tomorrow, motorists traveling south from Stafford into Fredericksburg can expect brief travel delays at midday in the Falmouth area.

All lanes of Route 1 northbound will be open tomorrow on Falmouth Bridge.

No lane closures are scheduled for Falmouth Bridge on Friday, Oct. 9.

Interstate 95 Northbound at the Rappahannock River

A bridge inspection on the Interstate 95 northbound bridge over the Rappahannock River will continue tomorrow, with a single northbound lane closure from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

All lanes of I-95 northbound will be open at the Rappahannock River on Friday, Oct. 9.
