DETOUR ON WEST CATHARPIN ROAD IN SPOTSYLVANIA TUESDAY, OCT. 27 - WEDNESDAY, OCT. 28
Through traffic will be detoured to travel between Post Oak Road and Pamunkey Road as VDOT crews replace a drainage pipe

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Through traffic on Route 608 (West Catharpin Road) in Spotsylvania County will be detoured between Route 606 (Post Oak Road) and Route 612 (Pamunkey Road) on Tuesday, Oct. 27 and Wednesday, Oct. 28 to allow Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews to install a new drainage pipe.

West Catharpin Road will be closed to through traffic around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, and will remain closed through approximately 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Motorists will be guided to use a detour route along Pamunkey Road.

All driveways will remain open during this work zone, and residents will continue to have access.

Message boards are posted to notify through travelers of the road closure and detour.
