VDOT TO CONDUCT ROUTINE BRIDGE INSPECTION ON THE ROBERT O. NORRIS BRIDGE OCT. 7 – 31
Drivers to expect a single lane closure on the bridge Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Beginning Monday, Oct. 7, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will begin conducting a routine annual bridge inspection on the Robert O. Norris Bridge located on Route 3 at White Stone.
Drivers should expect a single lane closure on the Route 3 bridge over the Rappahannock River. Lane closures will take place Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., each day, through Thursday, Oct. 31.
Automated flagging devices will control traffic one-way traffic through the work zone during work hours.
The Robert O. Norris Bridge crosses the Rappahannock River and connects Lancaster and Middlesex counties.
