ROUTE 683 (CCC ROAD) IN CAROLINE COUNTY WILL BE CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC NOV. 25 – 26
Crews will replace two deteriorating drainage pipes; Drivers should use Route 1 or Jericho Road to access either end of Route 683
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – On Monday, Nov. 25, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close Route 683 (CCC Road) in Caroline County to through traffic while crews replace drainage pipes.
VDOT will replace two deteriorated drainage pipes located on CCC Road. CCC Road is located between Route 1 and Jericho Road.
Route 1 and Jericho Road will be posted as the designated detour around the road closure for through traffic.
Residents on CCC Road will be allowed access to their homes while work is underway.
Work is expected to complete on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
According to the most recent VDOT traffic data, approximately 210 vehicles a day travel on CCC Road.
