I-95 NORTHBOUND PAVING CONTINUES IN SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY
Northbound I-95 drivers can expect overnight lane closures near Exit 126 on the evenings of Sunday, June 9 through Thursday, June 13
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Work will resume the evening of Sunday, June 9 to mill and pave Interstate 95 northbound near Exit 126 in Spotsylvania County.
Northbound I-95 travelers can expect lane closures and overnight travel delays on Sunday through Thursday evenings next week near Exit 126. Motorists should be alert for a temporary, rough travel surface in milled areas.
I-95 Northbound at Exit 126/Spotsylvania
Sunday, June 9 – Thursday, June 13
- 9 p.m. – Single lane closed
- 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. – Two lanes closed
- 4:30 a.m. – All lanes open
Exit Ramp Closure: I-95 Northbound to Route 1 Southbound (Exit 126B)
Sunday, June 9 – Thursday, June 13
- 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. – Exit ramp closed. Message boards will be posted prior to Exit 118/Thornburg to notify travelers; Exit ramp to Route 1 northbound at Exit 126A will remain open during this work zone.
- 4:30 a.m. – Ramp reopens
All work has been scheduled weather permitting.
