EXPECT SIGNIFICANT DELAYS ON I-95 NORTHBOUND IN SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY
Two I-95 northbound lanes remain closed at Exit 126/Spotsylvania as paving operations have been extended through the morning rush hour

 

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Motorists should anticipate significant delays on Interstate 95 northbound in Spotsylvania County. 

Two lanes on I-95 northbound at Exit 126/Spotsylvania remain closed. 

Overnight paving operations have been extended through the morning rush hour. 

Crews must leave a safe travel surface before reopening a travel lane. 

The on-ramp from Route 1 to I-95 northbound is open. 

All I-95 northbound lanes, on- and off-ramps were scheduled to reopen at 4:30 a.m. today, Sept. 10, to comply with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) guidelines. 

Motorists should seek the most convenient alternate route to access I-95 northbound at Exit 130/Route 3 in Fredericksburg.
