EXPECT DELAYS ON I-95 NORTHBOUND, COURTHOUSE ROAD IN STAFFORD COUNTY FOR CRASH
Crews are cleaning up spilled cargo of water bottles from tractor-trailer crash
8:50 A.M. UPDATE: All lanes of Interstate 95 northbound are now open at Exit 140/Courthouse Road in Stafford County.
6:55 A.M. UPDATE: Two lanes of Interstate 95 northbound are now open at Exit 140/Courthouse Road in Stafford County. A single I-95 northbound lane remains closed for cleanup of earlier tractor-trailer crash.
Additionally, all lanes of Courthouse Road are now open at I-95 interchange area.
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Interstate 95 northbound travelers will encounter delays near Exit 140 (Courthouse Road) in Stafford County, as two northbound lanes are closed for cleanup from a tractor-trailer crash with a spilled cargo of water bottles.
Courthouse Road is reduced to one lane near the I-95 interchange. One-way, alternating traffic is being directed through the area. Courthouse Road travelers should expect delays, or consider using an alternate route.
